Our beautiful Athena took her last breath on July 24, 2021 after a brief heart illness. She would have been 18 in September. We adopted Athena as a senior dog almost 7 years ago, and she was the one to keep us active with her zoomies, attitude, and spunk. She enjoyed naps on her heating pad, yelling at her dachshund and corgi brothers, taking walks with her Grandpa, and being spoiled with cheerios by her Grandma. She rescued us in more ways than we can count and left us with beautiful memories.
