Click for larger image It seems that Shy must have spent her life in a crate giving birth and nursing puppies. She was found wandering down the street by a good Samaritan with her belly practically dragging the ground, apparently not long since she had nursed her last litter. She healed quickly from her spay, dental and removal of mammary tumors and was ready to begin her new life. But then one day she developed a lump on her groin, started throwing up, stopped eating and stopped having bowel movements. She was taken right away to the E.R. and they discovered she had developed a hernia and some of her intestines were being choked off. To save her life emergency surgery was performed that Saturday night. Needless to say this is an expensive procedure and even worse required on the weekend. To repair the hernia it was necessary to remove two inches of her colon. For two days we waited and she had her first post surgery poop and everyone did the "happy poop dance." Now that she is OK we are seeking donations.

Please donate to help cover Shy's emergency surgery bill. If you met her you would understand why no expense was spared to give this sweet girl a chance at being a loved companion in a forever home, instead of just a puppy producer.
Please help Shy! All donations go directly to her medical care.
