How to describe this puppy named Nina? Well, a little bit of this and a little bit of that! She is part doxie, part yorkie, part chihuahua and all energetic playfulness. She was given up because her owner could no longer care for her. It took her about a week to feel comfortable enough to start to play with the other young dogs in her foster home. She is very athletic and can run fast and jump high. She will need a good-sized tall fenced yard (non-wire or chain link), a friendly playful dog buddy her age and size, and someone who will take the time to let her get comfortable in her new home. She will need help with housetraining. She is full of surprises as her personality blossoms. Prefer someone who doesn't crate a lot and allows their dog(s) to sleep with them in bed. She needs a securely fenced tall yard (non-wire or chain link) and a single family home. She is not for an apartment, townhouse or condo because of her barking and high energy style. It would be a dream if we could place Nina and Sophie (12864) into the same home together as they really love each other!***Applicants must be willing to drive to Ellicott City, Maryland (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Nina.****
