| Baxter is an active, happy and lovable guy. His main focus is to be near and getting attention from his people. He loves attention! His ideal home would be with adopters that are not gone long hours and with a fenced yard preferably. He gets along great with other dogs but would also be fine as an only dog. He knows 'sit' and 'stay' (can't hold his stay very long though) and he does really well with 'come'. He is good with potty training unless he isn't taken out regularly - he doesn't quite know how to alert people that he needs to go. Overall, he is a very sweet little dog. This is what his foster mom had to say about him: Baxter is quite the little ham. He loves to play, give kisses, and rolls over for belly rubs whenever he has the chance. He likes long naps as much as he likes playtime and long walks. He's great with strangers and other dogs. He seems to be unphased by kids who come up to pet him. Not food aggressive and is very respectful when his human housemates are eating. He sleeps well at night on a dog bed on the floor and doesn't wake you up too early when he needs to go out. He's not great in the car, very nervous, but seems to calm down when on the highway. Must be willing to come to the Baltimore area to meet/adopt Baxter. His adoption fee is $275 |
