| "Hi, my name is Rio and I hail from the state of TX but my new home is here in MD. I had all my vet appointments and the dogster thinks I am app. 2yrs old. I am only 10lbs, very active and run like a gazelle. I love to run and play with the other dogs in my foster home, although they are a lot slower and older than me. I would be fine with old or young dogs in the house. No small children because I am to lively for them, I like to jump up on your lap and that may frighten the small ones. I am very friendly to everyone I meet. I will bark when strangers come to the house or I hear something strange outside but settle down quickly. I am house broken/trained and go to the door to go potty. I do not like the crate and will bark a lot if you put me there. I sleep in the same area as the other dogs at my foster home but would love to sleep in the big bed. I love to cuddle with my foster parents and my foster fursiblings. I love a warm lap as much as playing!" As Rio has settled into foster care, we realized that he would not do well in a condo/apartment as he does tend to bark at noises outside. He also needs a young playful dog buddy and a fenced yard-He LOOOOVES being outside and running around the yard! Rio's adoption fee is $275. Must be willing to drive to Frederick, MD to meet/adopt Rio. |
