| Logan was rescued from a bad living situation with his lifelong friend Hayley. The shelter was able to get custody of the pair and then looked for a rescue that would take a senior pair in poor health. DRNA stepped up and took both dogs immediately. Logan is estimated to be about 13 years old, and has been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, low thyroid function. Logan has lost a lot of his fur, apparently due to this condition, because since he has been placed on replacement thyroid hormone pills, he has begun to grow some fur back. We think he is a longhair red boy and are waiting to find out as his coat grows back. Logan is putting on weight because he loves to eat everything! He will need an extensive dental and will feel much better once he has gained enough strength to have it done. Then he will be looking for a home with his friend Hayley. My foster mom calls me CHIA PET because with the thyroid medicine I have grown lots and lots of new fur!! And I am not done yet..............I grow more every day. You can see my 2 new photos, with the one when I came from the shelter for you to compare to. You must agree that I am soooooo much better now!! Thanks to my friends who donated to help Hayley and me, I was able to have a dental..............I lost every one of my teeth but boy do I feel better now!! I eat just fine too. I thank everyone who believed that I was worth giving me a chance. I am a new dog and I am ready to find my new forever family along with my best friend Hayley. So if you have room for a wonderful slightly older pair of pups, ask about us. We are quiet, we get along with everyone, and we are happy just to eat, sleep, and go on some short walks. We are an easy pair and would love to have a nice home of our own with a family who takes good care of us and loves us. We really never had that before we came to our foster family. and we sure appreciate all the kindness and good thiings we have in our lives now. Hope to hear from the right family for us real soon!
