Tex is a gentle soul, his eyes tell a story. He hasn't had a great life but he doesn't hold grudges. Tex came from a sanctuary in TX that was evacuated during Hurricane Harvey. He lived at the sanctuary for several years. During his transport to MD, everyone that came to meet him just fell in love. You will too! Just give this guy a chance and you will know true love. He will be your constant companion. His foster mom calls him a cowboy and southern gentleman. Tex had a full exam and other than some fatty growths, common for an older fella, he checked out great. He does have some hearing and vision loss but it doesn't bother him. He loves his new life; cuddling with his people, napping in his dog bed and treats! He gets along great with other dogs and plays with his fur siblings. He is house broken and crate trained. Walks well on a leash and enjoys an evening stroll. Tex's adoption donation is $150 but waived for senior adopters. |
