Biography

Franklin came to NJ after his owners in NC had to surrender him and 4 of his buddies because of economic issues. He is a very handsome boy, but with some sad scars from an attack by his mom was he was a tiny puppy. He is very smart and loving, likes to patrol the yard and bark at squirrels, birds, garbage men - just to keep everyone safe. Although he will bark at strangers, he warms up quickly. He loves toys and shares well. He gets along with other dogs and would probably be sad without a dog buddy. He is house trained and although he loves attention he has been quiet here when left alone. He is a very nice, all round good boy and is ready for his new forever home!
