Biography
Hi! My name is “Reggie”. I came into rescue with my little sister “Bella” when our family could no longer provide us with the care and the attention we needed. I am what folks call a tweenie, but right now I weigh what a standard doxie weighs. My foster mom has put me on something called a diet because she says that I will be healthier if I lose the extra pounds. I get along with big people and older respectful children, but small children make me nervous. I have become good buddies with the two doxies in my foster home so I know I want to live with another doxie if I can't be reunited with "Bella".

8/14/10 Update: Today is my weekly weigh-in and, to date, I've lost 2 1/2 pounds. (I'm down to 20.5 lbs from 23 lbs.) Yippee! I've been excercising every day and eating my dry kibble (and nothing else except snips of fruits or vegetables which I like!). I went to the vet last week for my final immunizations and the vet said I'm a healthy (and handsome) boy -- but I knew that. My favorite exercise is chasing after my ball. It's the size of a kickball and my foster mom throws it around in the yard. I race after it and give it a good thrashing. My foster mom says I'm doing a fabulous job on all my house manners and I get along well with my four other dogmates (2 little and 2 big dogs).
