| Chippy is a darling boy, who was surrendered by his owner, after she felt she was now allergic to him. Chippy didn't deserve to be uprooted after 7 years, but we are glad that he is with us here at DRNA. Chippy got into rat poison when he was a puppy, and even had to have a blood transfusion. He did recover, but does have a few neurological problems. One being, when Chippy is not sure what he is to do next, or when he is left out of his crate, he will go in circles. He will often do this also, if left standing by himself. He will need another motherly type dog who will help Chippy feel safe and secure. Chippy himself is very submissive and will most other dogs walk all over him. We don't want him bullied. He is a gentle soul. Chippy is good with children, other dogs and even cats. He is housebroken, but will not ask to go out, you will have to take him out and tell him to potty. He will dutifully obey. Chippy is a sweet boy, and we think he is one of the best little guys around. Well behaved, not destructive and also a quiet boy. He does get excited when you come home and of course at meal times.
