| Oskar, a 10 year old dachshund/beagle mix, spells his name with a 'k' to show how special he is. Oskar is one of those dogs who: 1. will be your BFF. 2. will go with you happily (unless it is raining or snowing). Oskar believes rainy, snowy days should be spent curled up on the couch dreaming of warm and sunny days. 3. will say 'mama' and 'I love you' if you rub both ears just right. 4. will sing you his song and would love for you to sing along. 5. will kiss your nose and sleep with his head on your pillow if you let him. 6. will let you bathe and brush him if you do it gently. 7. will tolerate other dogs as long as they play by his rules. Oskar would like a few amenities, including 1. a house with no stairs because he has some aches and pains. 2. a fenced yard and a comfy couch to nap on. 3. someone to take him on easy walks and for rides in the car. 4. food and treats that would be gentle on his tummy. 5. some soft toys to play with. 6. and, most importantly, someone to love him and be with him all the time - or at least most of the time! Oskar has won the title of "Most improved Foster Dog" and will make someone smile every day - and it could be you! |
