Medical Condition: Spunky is up-to-date on all vaccinations. He is neutered and has been on heartworm and flea preventatives. He has had a recent dental so his teeth are in good condition. Since being in DRNA, we discovered that Spunky was very allergic to grains in his dog food!!!! He now eats Taste of the Wild, and Innova's Evo grain-free cookies. Spunky's coat is like silk now.
Description: You may look at me and think Spunky(?!) He's too old to be a Spunky. Let me tell you I was quite spunky in my younger days. Now I am Sir Spunky. Foster mom sometimes calls me Sir Spunkster and Spunkalicious. She is silly. I was very sad when I first came here because I didn't want to leave my other momma. She really didn't want to let me go either, but she was sick and couldn't take good care of both of us. I like to snuggle under the covers. Foster mom laughs at me because I drag blankets out of the other dogs beds and off the storage shelf to place them just so for my comfort. Well gee whiz, shouldn't an older gentleman be comfortable?? I am excellent with my house training, don't mind a crate, but would do fine hanging out if you weren't home for a while. I like little children too. In my current foster home, I get lots of gentle loving from foster mom's niece and nephew. When we take our walks, I am a big hit with the neighborhood children too. Don't you need someone to check out all the blankies at your house? I do a very thorough job! |
