Sugar is a sweet little older chiweenie who was rescued from a hoarder in Texas. She is cute as can be. She is learning potty skills very quickly with help from her foster mom but will need continued help with this. She enjoys sleeping in bed with her person. She can be very timid and shy in new situations but bonds quickly to her human and will follow them around like their little shadow. Her adopter will need to have a lot of patience in order to help her come out of her shell. She has found her voice and is starting to bark when she hears noises which is a good sign that she feels comfortable. We think she would do best in a quiet all-adult home with a fenced yard and a very small friendly dog buddy her age and size. Her adopters should be home more than not. She seems to be crate-trained but not for long hours. Since she leans towards her Chihuahua side, she needs someone experienced with the breed.
