| Barley is an adorable little long hair doxie with very specific needs. We have little background on him. He was a stray and held for seven days in a local shelter. He has been with us for over three weeks and is a really nice dog IF he can be with his person and loves to snuggle. He is not crate trained and despite all efforts to teach him he will either bark or whine continuously if you leave him in crate. He is high energy and would probably do well with a playful doggy companion. He is young, probably less than one year but we do not have a birth date. He is going to be a great dog for someone with the time and patience to work with his energy and fears of being caged. He could not be considered for an apartment or condo and must have a securely fenced yard, no cats, children or large dogs.
