Biography
Marcus and Wilma are two little chiweenies who were found as strays. They spent a terrifying two weeks at a shelter where they weren't allowed to be together and at least get comfort from each other. They were surrounded by big barking dogs. I'm almost sure any of us would have a nervous breakdown enduring that kind of environment. They were pretty shut down. They are beginning to open up and learn to trust in their foster home and enjoy the comforts of life; love, a lap to lay in, soft blankets and comfy dog beds. They are good with the resident dogs and cat. It really isn't clear how much human contact they've had so they will need a very patient adopter who is used to helping fearful dogs come out of their shells. They just need time and loving humans to blossom into great pets. Not for novice pet owners. Securely fenced yard required. . ****Applicant should be willing to drive to Ellicott City, Maryland (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Marcus and Wilma..****
