Biography

Niko is an awesome young dog. He is a Dachshund-Chihuahua mix. He was given up to a local shelter by his owner who was deploying and couldn't find anyone to give Niko a home. Niko lives to play with other dogs and run at breakneck speed around the yard. He definitely needs at least 1 or 2 young rowdy dog friends his size and energy level in his adoptive home. I think he would even be good with older children who would play with him but who understand not to take his toys or chewies from him. He is a delightful young dog who would make a family very happy. He needs a single-family home sized fenced yard. ****Applicants must be willing to travel to Ellicott City MD (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Niko. His adoption fee is $275.****
