| Dempsey came into rescue with his mom and five siblings - four boys and Lily from a rural shelter. His mom, Beina, was reported to be a Chiweenie, although she has very long legs. We have no idea who his dad was but these puppies are adorable. We estimate that they will be three months old about July 2. When you pick Axel up he snuggles his head into your neck. Axel will need a playful doggie companion when he is not snuggling with his person. They will be ready for adoption in about 3-4 weeks after being spay/neutered and having their final shots. Mom weighs 14 lbs and it looks like the pups will grow to about that. *Mileage restriction will be waived if approved adopter is willing to come to Norfolk to pick him up |
