Biography
Junior had a very tough life before he came into rescue. He lived on the end of a chain in rural Virginia spending a couple of winters outside chained to a deck without any shelter. He is the nicest dog ever and loves human companionship. The idea of him being isolated away from people and other dogs is heart-breaking. We are so happy to have him with us where he no longer has to suffer. He is a long-legged dachshund mix built for running, perfect for keeping up with an active person who jogs. He also likes to go for walks. He is patiently waiting for his forever home. Junior does take time to warm up to every one in the home so he needs a lot of patience, He would like a young playful dog his size in his new home. ****Applicants must be willing to travel to Ellicott City MD (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Junior.***
