We recently had to put our Dauchshund mix (Spunky) down on 9/11/09. We were heartbroken and thought we'd give time before adopting again. Not even two weeks later, we went to the Dauchshund Rescue site of North America as we missed having a four legged friend in our house. There we found a galore of beautiful Dauchshunds who needed a good home and someone to love them. It was there that we met two wonderful people who love and cherish these wonderful Dauchshunds, Foster parents Lois & Red Armstrong. They connected us with our beloved Otis on 9/30/09. He is everything we could ask for...we are pinching ourselves and saying how lucky we are!

Thank you Lois & Red Armstrong. You are both amazing people and the love and dedication to these animals, goes without words can say.
