December 2008

Sam, Hilton Head, South Carolina
Adopted December 2, 2006
Sam was turned in to Animal Control by a family that was living in their car and could no longer care for him. Although high Heartworm Positive, Sam recovered completely with no long-term problems. Initially very shy, Sam’s family now reports that his true personality has emerged and he loves everyone and plays with all his pup buddies!

Crackers, Glen Burnie, Maryland
Adopted December 2006
Crackers came to Kristel (MD DRNA Representative) as a foster in Aug ’06. He had just been cleared by the vet after successful back surgery. After six months in foster care and very little interest on the DRNA website, he became Kristel’s first “foster failure.”
In the picture, Crackers and his fur sister Rita share a hug.
