March 2008

Belle, Austin, Arkansas
Adopted March 2007
Belle is a deaf and blind double dapple. She is a special girl that found a special home in Arkansas.

Berrie, Ridgeland, South Carolina
Adopted March 1, 2007
Berrie came from a hoarder and went to a wonderful home with one brother to play with. She is one happy little girl who loves the sun and sand of the SC coastline.

Fritz, Brandon, Mississippi
Adopted in March 2007
He went from living outside in inches of filth to a wonderful loving home. His coat is like silk now and he is so beautiful despite his lacey ears and scars on his neck. His favorite pastime is sleeping in the recliner with his head on his daddy’s neck. Some of the things he enjoys most are going for a walk, riding in the car, running very fast in the house and backyard, sneaking clothes out of the hamper, running off with anything that is dropped on the floor, licking everyone’s ice cream bowls, cuddling and sleeping under the covers in the big bed with Mom, Dad and his doggy brothers Ace and Max. He is a lucky little dog but his family thinks they are lucky too because they all found each other.

Hildie, Mount Bethel, Pennsylvania
March 25, 2007
She has, over the past 2 1/2 months, charmed her way into sleeping in the “Big Bed” with Mommy every night.

PLATO (Plato “Potato” Pitts), Anderson, South Carolina
Adopted March 10, 2007
Plato has stolen our hearts. We never thought we would become so attached to a little dog but his big personality took us by surprise. We have just started our new life together as a married couple, and Plato has already added more joy to our lives than we could have ever imagined.

Ginger, Russelville, Arkansas
Adopted March 2007
She says...if you look at the picture you’ll see I’m the cute furry one. The other dog is Sassy and she has lived with master for about 14 years. She thought she was going to boss me around. I showed her! Master is tough, he expects us to help with the supper dishes every day! Can you imagine having to clean a plate of steak and potato with sour cream? It is all we can do to wolf it down and act insanely happy for it. I try hard to please him, I even go out and soak up lots of rain and bring it inside so it can dry faster. I drag lots of weeds and leaves inside to help decorate the house. He is not amused by this. Well, it could be worse. I am fairly well cared for. I have a good health care plan and a great dog door made for short legged dogs like me. I even manage to rest when master isn’t watching.
