Pup Pup is a laid back senior gal looking for her forever home because her owner became ill and could no longer care for her. She would make a great dog for an older person due to her calm nature. I'm sure she will adjust to a new home quickly as long as she is loved and well cared for. She gets along great with all animals however would do best with an older dog close to her age. She hasn't been around small children and I don't think she would do well with them because she gets scared of fast movements. She does not like to be left alone and will bark quite a bit. She lets us know when she wants to go out. She's not a barker unless she is left alone, needs to go out or wants something (like attention). She spends most of her days sleeping and loves lounging on laps! She requires a fenced yard because she doesn't know how to walk on a leash. She will require a patient adopter because she will run and hide if you try to pick her up. We don't know why. We are looking for an adopter who is home more than not and who won't need to crate her. She spent too much time crated in her previous home so we would like to avoid this for her. Pup Pup is a bit stiff and we suspect she has a bit of arthritis. She just had a recent dental. ****Applicant should be willing to drive to Ellicott City, Maryland (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Pup Pup. Her adoption fee is $150 unless adopter is 60 or older and then her adoption fee is waived. ****
