Hazel is a lovely sweet senior girl who came to us as a stray through a local shelter. She was scheduled for a dental but the vet found her to be anemic when he did bloodwork. Further testing revealed she was positive for Lymes and Ehrlichia. She has completed her course of antibiotics and is ready for her new home. Hazel is a wonderful dog who could fit into most homes. She is good with dogs and cats. I would hope to place her into a home where someone is possibly retired and home more than not. She is regaining her energy every day and even plays with her resident foster brother. Loves the big bed. Does not need to be crated. Is good about house-training if kept on a schedule. ****Applicant must be willing to drive to Ellicott City, Maryland (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Hazel.****
