Biography
This little boy, Silas, has had a rough time in life. He was the cherished baby in his home until the owners' situation changed. Silas was then relegated to a small crate in their barn where he lived for a very long time. Because of his mournful barking they put a shock collar on him. Are you crying yet for what this poor little boy had to endure? He is starving for attention and is so happy when he gets it. It's understandable that we are seeking a home for Silas where he will be cherished, not left alone too long and crated minimally, if at all. He needs a securely fenced yard. He is thin and athletic so he can jump pretty high! Because of his small size, no large dogs or children. His housetraining skills are good but that may change when he goes to a new home until he gets adjusted. All in all, he is a great dog! His foster mom had this to say about him "It's amazing what a wonderful dog he is. whomever adopts this awesome, sweet, beautiful guy is super lucky." ****Applicants must be willing to travel to Ellicott City MD (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Silas.****
