I’m 12yrs young, have beautiful smooth red hair, and weigh about 16lbs. After my first family moved and could not take me along, I was given to a shelter where the vet discovered that I had icky bladder stones and some infected teeth. Surgery fixed ALL of that and I am now a completely healthy pup again! I do eat prescription urinary dry dog food to keep my body right but that is super easy to get from the vet. Other than dog food, I have no special needs! I am heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, on monthly heartworm prevention and flea prevention, etc.! PERKS of having me as a companion: (FYI, there are tons of perks!) I LOVE walks. Seriously. Just pick up my leash and I’m your girl! I will outwalk all the younger dogs every single time! I also LOVE car rides and new adventures so traveling with me is a breeze. I LOVE other dogs, cats, people, you name it! I love spending time with people indoors and out in the yard, wherever you want to go. I am also a fantastic cuddle buddy and will happily take a nap with you whenever you want too! I am housetrained, crate-trained (though I’m so well behaved, I don’t need a crate), know how to use a doggie door, am a fan of soft squeak toys, love cuddling under blankets, and LOVE doggie treats of any and every type. I have absolutely no bad habits because, well, I’m pretty perfect! While I love being in my foster home with my foster parents and foster siblings, I really want a home of my own again. I get very attached to “my family” and just want to be loved by a family again. Please don’t think I’m too old for you. I promise I will love you unconditionally if you can do the same for me.
