Biography

Maxine is a cute little scruffy doxie-cairn terrier mix. She needed our help because she was found as a stray that no one came to the shelter to claim. She was terrified at the shelter and would not interact with anyone until she grew to trust them. Once trust was established, she loved to sit in someone's lap. Needless to say, the shelter was not the best place for Maxine to get adopted from so we picked her up and placed her into one of our foster homes. If you want a personality plus little girl and love terriers, please apply for Maxine. We don't know much about her yet but one thing for sure, she won't be available for long. I'm looking for an all-adult home with fenced yard and small dog buddy for Maxine or at least where sh ewon't be left alone all day. ****Applicants must be willing to drive to Ellicott City, Maryland (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Maxine.****
