| Murhpy is a sweet little guy who just loves affection and love. He is so eager to please and learn! He is crate trained but would prefer not to be alone all day in a kennel. He sleeps in a comfy bed in his kennel at night, and after a few whines goes right to sleep, so we put him to bed a few minutes before we intend on going to sleep ourselves. He is potty trained but will occasionally mark in the house when exploring new areas or if left alone unsupervised too long. Because of this, when we leave we put him kennel. He gets along great with all his foster siblings and loves to play! That being said we would prefer him to be placed in a home with another companion dog, preferably another dachshund or smaller breed because of his small size. We have not figured out what kind of toys he likes but he enjoys exploring the yard and going for walks in the neighborhood. We unsure about his history regarding cats or children. Murphy is a wonderful dog, and deserves an equally wonderful family to spend the rest of his life with. *Mileage restriction will be waived if approved adopter comes to Virginia Beach to pick him up.
