| ****Update: Killian went to see Santa Claus tonight to ask for his Forever Home for Christmas. Please make Killian's wishes come true!**** Killian was surrendered to the shelter because his family was overwhelmed with the care that their toddler needed and felt Killian would do better in another home where he could get more attention. After a week or so in his new foster home Killian has shown us what a sweet personality he has. He was a loner at first because of course he missed his family, despite having the company of seven other doxies. A depressed little guy he was. How amazed we were after one week he started running the yard chasing birds and squirrels and jumping in our laps for kisses and belly rubs. Killian is food motivated; no surprise there for a doxie. Killian can be in the furthermost part of our acre yard and if I holler "Killian time to eat or want a treat" he comes running at which time he sits on command and gets a healthy speck of a treat. Killian would love to EAT the resident kitty so NO kitty households for him. Killian is a simple kind of guy, he likes his crate, loves everyone he meets and the best part about adopting him---- drum roll---HE IS HOUSEBROKEN! Please fill out an application for Killian if you like giving belly rubs in exchange for wet doxie kisses. ****Applicants must be willing to drive to Ellicott City, Maryland (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Killian.**** |
