| When Autumn was rescued from a local shelter, she was so very sick. Extremely thin, full of parasites, severe dental disease and kennel cough, which later turned into pneumonia. It took 4 long weeks to finally get this girl well. It was touch and go for awhile. Autumn is ready for adoption. But with Autumn, she is typical dachsie. She loves taking naps, and usually wants a bed in and out of the way of every one else. She will cry at you to pick her up for some "lap time", but then is usually ready to go to the best comfy dog bed she can find to nap or sleep. She demands her meal on time. LOL But she will start to remind you when they are due about 45 minutes prior. Autumn will use piddle pads. So she would be great for an apartment. But is very good about going outside too.
