| Hi! My name is Slinky. I was surrendered to DRNA after jumping off a couch and losing the use of my back legs. Because so much time had gone by I was no longer a candidate for surgery so my doctor recommended physical therapy (cold laser treatments and underwater treadmill exercises). Guess what….I am not only walking I can run. I get along with absolutely everyone and my foster mom says I am one of the happiest friendliest little doxies she has ever met. If you are looking for a real love bug and a little guy who just LOVES to be held and cuddled you should come meet me. No more red gums, no more bad breath, and no more discomfort Update: September 6th - I have started PT and cold laser treatments. Update: September 28th - I can WALK! Update - December - I have completed all my PT and exceeded everyone's expectations. I walk and run and do everything my buddies do. |
