| A Very happy little guy w/ big determination, who has a Lot of love to give! 12/14 Kopper is walking on his own now, all due to laser txs.! Is regaining more urinary continence, & is often witnessed urinating on his own in the yard. Sometimes he does good job of emptying his bladder, & other times foster mom has to 'express' sm. amt. of urine. Laser txs. has done Wonders for this guy, PLUS his determination & will-power! He now will walk up the ramp in garage to enter house! Kopper is such a positive little guy & so deserves a loving, devoted home & family. MAY 2014: Kopper is walking!! It is a wobbly walk, but he is walking, & as long as he doesn't get in a hurry, he stays on all fours. Can easily stand & maintains his balance w/out problem. Loves to run, chase squirrels, & go abt. the yard. He is a very happy, well-adjusted little guy with much love! 3/4/14 Update: Has completed 6 laser therapy treatments, & progress has been made! He can now get into a standing position & will take few steps (& is Very fast in moving!). Responds to command 'pee-pee' when taken to potty. Foster mom does 'express' his bladder to completely empty of urine. Has the sensation of when he needs to have BM, & does on his own. He is a Very determined little dachshund, & w/ his will & laser therapy, Kopper is making great strides @ walking again!!***** Kopper is a very sweet & well-behaved dachshund, who has IVDD & has regained his ability to walk due to laser txs.!!**** He is a very good dog, & likes the resident dachshunds. LOVES a good chewy & he devotes alot of time to this hobby! Likes squeaky toys too. Kopper wants to please. Very loving little guy & can be an attention hound---loving to show off & be silly!! Is not demanding. NO Cats, as not cat friendly! A very happy little guy! DOB May 20, 2009. Fostered in eastern NC. |
