| Penny is a beautiful, sweet, red smooth girl who spent her entire life making puppies for a money hungry breeder. She never got to experience what being a true companion dog is all about. Slowly but surely, that is changing since she entered foster care. She's learning to trust humans and is enjoying getting attention. Penny has even started to play with toys. She'll pick one up, give it a shake, and run off with it in her mouth. So cute to see her experiencing things she has never done before. She stays very nicely in her x-pen and enjoys her free time out and about in the house. She's fine with other dogs and even likes the resident cat. Penny would love someone to keep teaching her about this big world. She needs a patient adopter who realizes all progress will be in baby steps. She does need work on housetraining. ****Applicant should be willing to drive to Ellicott City, Maryland (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Penny. She is a sanctuary placement with no fee.**** |
