| It’s me, Woody! I am such a handsome Standard sized boy along with the fact that I am housebroken, submissive and a lover! I think I am a little dog as I do like to sit in your lap or as close to my human as I can so I can look in your face and make sure you are paying attention! Foster Mom has helped me improve my manners as I sometimes was “ in your face too much”…how can that be???? I am very sociable with other dogs after I get to know them. There are 10 other dogs here so I had to!!! I love to run and play with dogs, kids who have respect for animals (ages 7 and up as I am a strong dog) and anyone that will play with me! One IMPORTANT thing you should know…I absolutely need a securely fenced in yard as I have spent time on the streets before I was rescued from the shelter by the DRNA and Foster Mom says I daydream looking outside the chain link fence so much that she doesn’t trust me and she says I am too curious. I stare and bark at the rabbits that come into our fenced in garden….Foster Mom has nicknamed me Elmer Fudd ! Well, Gee! I am a Doxie!!! Another thing…if you have other dogs you have to keep an eye on me so I don’t eat their food, too! Now that you know those things can we go on with the great stuff, like I am a cuddly, lively , loveable hunk of hound just wanting my forever home and family…hopefully with kids!
